FNP’s 2028 IPO Ambition Following Rs 1,000 Crore Milestone

FNP,better known as Ferns N Petals,is approaching a significant milestone as it plans for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) by the close of 2028. The company recently achieved a landmark revenue of Rs 1,000 crore in FY26,and is ambitiously focused on solidifying its position in both domestic and international markets. With continuous diversification of product offerings and enhanced profitability, the anticipated IPO is set to mark a pivotal moment in the brand’s history.

Impressive Revenue Growth at FNP

FNP’s financial journey over recent years underscores its robust growth trajectory. The firm reported an operating revenue of Rs 705 crore in FY24,witnessing a 22% surge to Rs 861.5 crore in FY25. The total income, incorporating additional revenue streams, rose to Rs 869 crore during the same period. Notably,FNP managed to reduce its net loss by 8.3%,bringing it down to Rs 22 crore in FY25,showcasing a stronger bottom line.

FNP’s diverse revenue streams extend beyond traditional flower sales to include cakes, gifts, personalized products, and celebration services. Growth drivers have included improved supply chain management, strategic investments in central kitchens, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance demand forecasting and delivery systems. By FY26,FNP’s revenue was estimated to be in the range of Rs 1,005 crore to Rs 1,085 crore, with an improved EBITDA margin of 2.5% to 3%. The company is projecting further growth, setting a revenue target of Rs 1,400 crore for FY27.

Quick Commerce:Driving Expansion

A key factor in FNP’s rapid growth has been its focus on quick commerce. As consumer demands for rapid delivery grow,FNP has adapted by increasing its presence on major quick commerce platforms and improving its own fast delivery systems. Deliveries completed in under 45 minutes have fueled order volumes, leading to an approximately 15% increase.

The role of quick commerce in FNP’s revenue has dramatically increased, rising from Rs 7-8 crore in FY24 and FY25 to nearly Rs 65 crore in FY26. Looking forward, the segment is expected to reach around Rs 125 crore in FY27,projected to represent 20% to 25% of overall revenue in the future. To seize this opportunity,FNP plans to extend its metropolitan dark store network from 21 to 40 locations within the coming year, while also working to minimize operational costs in its quick commerce sector.

Expanding Retail and Global Reach

In line with its expansion goals,FNP is enhancing its online offerings and enlarging its retail footprint. The business intends to open premium,company-owned stores in major metropolitan areas, while also developing franchise stores in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. This strategic move is aimed at catering to a broader consumer base and amplifying brand presence in less penetrated regions.
